Dyke Family |
||
|
This general view from the right drive into section A. The grey rectangle in front of the crypt marks the graves of the infant Harry Benoni, as well as his sisters Clara and Delia who both died as young ladies. The John & Mary marker is the white rectangle in the center of this image.
John and Mary Dyke immigrated from England with their grown children. At the time most family could only afford marble markers, not granite, and the marker is slowing deteriorating. Older markers in the background are completely blank.
Harry Benoni died as an infant, and his sisters Clara and Delia died as young ladies. They are the the grandchildren of John and Mary (above).
This marker in Section B does not record any individual names and no individual markers were found in August 2005 when this photograph was taken. A volunteer history of this cemetery has recorded specific family members as buried here.
