     This is in general a pretty open policy, but please read it carefully.  Except where specifically noted, all rights are reserved.  If you do use one of my photos or my information according to the policy below, it would be nice if you let me know (just use the comments form).

     Please respect the copyright of items on these pages.  People have entrusted me with their property, or I have paid for the use of the output of their talents.  We need to respect their ownership.  If I don't own it; please contact the owner and get their permission to use it.

For non-commercial, private, websites or for publications of less than 100 copies:

     Any photographs or graphics that DO NOT contain recognizable living people can be copied, so long as "loafingcactus.com" is readable in the photo or "loafingcactus.com" attribution is shown in immediate proximity to the the graphic.  Some photos show my name and if you use one of those, please also show the "loafingcactus.com."  Graphics with LIVING recognizable people require prior permission.

     Other restrictions on this policy will be shown at the bottom of the page- please check.  If I don't own the work, please contact the owner if you want to use it (unless there is a note at the bottom of the page).

      Up to 2,000 words of text can be used, so long as:

1. attribution is given,

2. version date is given,

3. a link is made back to the page with the text, and

4. a link is made back to the main page at: http://www.loafingcactus.com/familyhistory.
