We are descendants of the Hazard family of Rhode Island for only four generations before two female Hazard ancestors merge into the Champlin line, one marrying Jeffrey Champlin and her grand-niece marrying their son Stephen Champlin.

Decadency to the Cactus

Thomas Hazard and Margarit Pawmer of England.

Thomas Hazard b. 1595 and immigrated to Rhode Island.  His wife was Martha, and may have been Martha Potter but I cannot verify this.

Robert Hazard b. 1635 married Mary Brownell.

     Hannah Hazard married Jeffrey Champlin.

Thomas Hazard b. 1658 married Susannah Nichols.

Robert Hazard b. 1689 married Sarah Borden.

     Mary Hazard married Stephen Champlin, the son of Jeffrey Champlin above.

Their daughter Sarah Champlin married Samuel Congdon, a son of the Wickham line and a descendant of the Albro line.

etc.

Sarah Champlin is the 6th great grandmother of the Cactus.
