There are probably a lot of Wickham families.  We are descendents of the Thomas Wickham (1624-1688), a Puritan English settler who moved to Wethersfield, Connecticut in about 1648.  Read more about him and his descendents at the website of Joseph S.Wickham.

     Born 1623/34, died 11 Jan 1688 in Wethersfield, Hartford, Connecticut.  Wife, Sarah.

Samual Wickham

     Born 16 Jun 1664 in Glastonbury, Hartford, Connecticut.  Died 1712 in Kingstown Rhode Island.  Married Barbara Holden.

     One of his descendents was Charles Preston Wickham, who served in the U.S. Congress for the State of Ohio from 1887 - 1891.  Read more about him at the website of Joseph S. Wickham.

Mary Wickham

     Born 15 Jul 1698 in Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island.  Married Joseph Congdon.

Samuel Congdon

     Born 18 Feb 1733 in South Kingstown, Rhode Island.  Died Sept 1813 in South Kingstown, Rhode Island.  Married Sarah Champlin. (More about his grandmother family ALBRO here.)
