This is another Caroline Dunham relationship. In Herman Krusi's Recollections of My Life (he is husband of Caroline Dunham) he states that Caroline Dunham was a "descendent" of President Adams. I'm not sure if by this he was making the old-fashioned distinction between "descendent" and "direct descendent"; in any case my information does not put this as a direct descendency. My information has not been checked against original sources but is taken from secondary sources.
